Preventative Maintenance Recommendations
                     
ProTech Fitness recommends performing regular preventive maintenance on all your equipment. All manufacturers 
suggest quarterly service provided by a certified technician. Without regularly scheduled maintenance, normal wear and tear may 
cause cumulative effects, which will result in excessive wear and extended down times. In addition, unusual symptoms should be   
reported to your certified service provider.               
                     
Daily Maintenance                   
Treadmills and Ellipticals - Wipe down all surfaces including decks, rails, and arms.       
Spin Bikes, Steppers, UB/RB Bikes, Stepmills, - Wipe down all surfaces. Apply cleaner to towel before wiping down consoles.
Strength - Wipe down all pads and handles              
                     
                     
Weekly Maintenance                
Treadmills - Elevate and vacuum under and around the treadmill. Clean off rear support brace.     
Spin Bikes, Steppers, UB/RB Bikes, Stepmills, - check for squeaks and rattles, loose pedals or straps, and loose equipment
Strength - Lube guide rods - check attachment wear            
             
                     
Monthly Maintenance                
Treadmill - Check tension and alignment on running belt - Check power cord - Wipe under belt - Vacuum inside - check settings
Elliptical - Adjust pedal arms, tighten loosened hardware - check settings        
Spin Bikes - Check Brake pads, chain tension, crank bolt tightness, lube chain, and tighten loose hardware  
Steppers - Clean and lube chains - tighten loose hardware - check settings        
UB/RB Bikes - Tighten cranks - tighten loose hardware - check settings        
Strength - Check upholstery - check condition of cables, kevlar, and pulleys - adjust if necessary    
                     
                     
Quarterly Maintenance                
Treadmills - Lube elevation screws - check rollers - adjust belt tension - lube deck       
Elliptical - Lube pedal arm joints - check eccentric assembly           
                     
Yearly Maintenance                  
Treadmills- Change Belt and Flip Deck
